About us
Eggardon Sawmill
In the midst of Dorset's area of outstanding natural beauty lies North Eggardon, on a hill with astonishing views. We are lucky enough to have been sawing up logs there since 2011. When Adrian Janssen moved to Dorset, he started off doing sustainable carpentry and saw milling. Although still enjoying carpentry work every now and then, over the years the focus has shifted from carpentry to saw milling.

What we do
Here are a few examples of the wood we've been milling and other stuff you might be interested in.

All our wood is locally sourced. We can also mill up your own wood at Eggardon Sawmill.
Cladding
​
Forms the bulk of our business. We supply feather edged, waney edged, one side square edged and square edged cladding in western red cedar and douglas fir. Other woods may be available.
​
Building and project timber
​
We are able to provide locally sourced custom sawn timber in a wide variety of hard and soft woods.
Mobile sawmilling service
​
We can bring our sawmill to your location and mill your logs on site.
Slabwood
We sell bundles of slabwood for fire wood or your small home projects. We may be able to deliver locally for a small extra charge.

Monday - Friday 9.00-17.00
Come to Eggardon and have a look around, we are there most weekdays. Best thing is to give us a call beforehand, to make sure we're on location.
